This is the second and final weekend for the 37th annual Festival, which offers a variety of  activities, including live music, art shows, sailing and of course, whale watching.</p>
<p>During this migration season, from December through March, more than 40 whales pass by Dana Point every day.</p>

Our favorite Chicano, <strong>Cheech Marin</strong>, presents “Chicano Now,” “Papel Chicano” and “The Chicano Collection,” all at So Cal’s newest museum and cultural arts center.</p>
<p>Adults and children alike will love the interactive activities, like driving a hydraulic &#8216;57 Chevy, learning how to salsa and viewing Chicano independent films.</p>
<p>There’s a huge display of art in all different mediums as well.</p>

You can get a glimpse into that life by seeing <a target="_blank" href="http://events.ocregister.com/fullerton-ca/events/show/81270648-what-is-written-and-what-is-not-expressions-of-a-contemporary-muslim-american-woman">an exhibit of her work</a> at the <a target="_blank" href="http://events.ocregister.com/fullerton-ca/venues/show/28286-cal-state-fullerton-titan-student-union">Titan Student Union Gallery at Cal State Fullerton</a>, now through <strong>April 4</strong>.</p>
<p>Sama is the youngest of eight Muslim children and receives her inspiration from summer trips back to her home country of Syria. Sama received her Bachelor of Arts in Film from Cal State Fullerton but uses a variety of different mediums such as acrylic, oil paints, prismacolor pencils, chalk, airbrush, spray paint and clay.</p>
<p>Admission to the exhibit, &#8220;What is Written and What is Not: Expressions of a Contemporary Muslim American Woman,&#8221; is <strong>free</strong>. <p>OK, you may be thinking, “I could see angry men anywhere I go, for free,” but this is much more exciting! Originally a teleplay written by Reginald Rose, &#8220;12 Angry Men has been reproduced as a film and a television show.</p>
<p>The play focuses on 12 men who have been called to be jurors. They must deliberate the fate of a murderer. Yet as the men argue their points of view, they discover that they must face their own past to solve the mystery.</p>
<p>There are various show times, including matinees and evenings. Tickets are <strong>$15</strong> to <strong>$65</strong>. The show runs about an hour and a half with no intermission.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img vspace="4" align="left" width="150" src="http://discoveroc.freedomblogging.com/files/2008/02/caution.jpg" hspace="4" alt="caution" height="200" />From <strong>now</strong> until <strong>March 15</strong> you can experience <strong>José Casas “14”</strong> in <strong>Santa Ana</strong>. This tragic play, told in monologues, shows the story of 14 Mexican immigrants who died in the sweltering Arizona desert whilst crossing the border in May 2001. It has been called “Best Original Play” by the ARIZONIA and won the Theatre Award of Excellence in 03-04.</p>
<p>Casas wrote this play based upon many interviews he gave. It is said to investigate the complex relationship between Mexicans, Chicanos and Anglos who reside in Arizona. This play isn’t about who’s good and who’s bad but the gray area that we must accept in between the two.</p>
<p>“14” shows on Fridays and Saturday at <strong>8 p.m.</strong> You can also catch a Sunday matinee at<br />

The <a href="http://events.ocregister.com/santa-ana-ca/venues/show/22245-discovery-science-center" target="_blank">Discovery Science Center</a> combines biology, ecology, geography and natural history into a compelling high-definition experience for all to enjoy.</p>
<p>The exhibit focuses on a Bengal tiger family at the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Through their story, you will learn all about the preservation and protection of tigers from being hunted for sport. You will identify tiger tracks, direction, speed and learn how a tigress travels with her cub.</p>
<p>The Science Center is open <strong>10 a.m.</strong> to <strong>5 p.m.</strong> daily. Admission for children ages 3 to 17 is <strong>$9.95</strong>, for adults <strong>$12.95.</strong> Kids age 2 and under get in free.</p>
