Who needs to go all the way to Times Square for an excellent New Year’s celebration? OC will have its own ball drop countdown and jumping party that may even surpass good ol’ New York’s at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
As the seconds count down to 2008 you’ll see a fantastic video and laser show complete with tons of confetti. Plus there will be ten stages with live music and several fun themed areas.
Tickets for this event will cost you anywhere from $40-150 depending on the section you choose to sit in. You can purchase tickets on the OCNYE web sit. It may be a little expensive but it will be worth it! After all, this event has been called “the best New Year’s Eve celebration in the country”. The party starts at 5 p.m. on Monday and goes until 12:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
